Limit the nutrients are indicated in the table in yellow colour. Eat too much fat, saturated fat, trans-fatty acids or too much sodium, rise the risk to suffer certain chronic illnesses such as CVD, some sort of cancer or high blood pressure. Eat a great deal of calories is related to overweight and obesity. Chia seeds do not have sodium, cholesterol, trans-fatty acids, and only have a very little saturated fat.

Eat enough of these nutrients may improve health and help reduce risk to suffer certain illnesses and conditions, for example:enough calcium may reduce the risk of osteoporosis that due to ageing, the bones weaken and break down. Chia seed is a high source of niacin, thiamine, vitamin A, calcium, phosphorous, magnesium, manganese, copper, iron, and molybdenum and a good source of dietary fibre, cinc and Omega-3 fatty acids.
